Our courses
814 offers specialized courses for athletes ranging from 4th grade to college level, ensuring all skill levels find their place here. Our courses include co-ed sessions for younger players, gender-separated training for high school athletes, and tailored instruction for college players. Discover the excitement of volleyball or elevate your skills through focused coaching and attention to detail. Our sessions are designed to foster skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Limited to 14 students per course session, we focus on building a proper technical foundation from day one. Small class sizes allow for individual feedback and greater attention to detail. All course pricing is per 90-minute session.
***I got a request to open up the 4th-6th grade courses for experienced 3rd graders. If the player is big enough to bump and hand pass/set into the air with some control, then I definitely welcome them as well. I know kids grow at different rates, so if you feel that your player can keep up with the older kids, please feel free to reach out or fill out the request form for the appropriate 4th grade course.***
KNEEPADS ARE MANDATORY for 4th-8th grade courses, and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for JV High School and above.
No Experience 4th-6th Graders
Learn from scratch! This is for anyone who has never played organized volleyball nor bumped or served a ball. This course is co-ed on a youth net. - $20 Per Session
No Experience 7th-12th Graders
Never played before? Great! Learn the correct way from the start at 814! Does your school have a team for you? If not, no problem! Train here and use your learned skills to play club ball with your new friends. This course has a boys' class on a men's net and a girls' class on a women's net. - $20 Per Session
Experienced 4th-6th Graders
This is for our youngest students who have played organized volleyball or already have the skills to do so. We will begin by focusing on achieving 3 touches per side and passing to a setter. They will also be working on serves and hand passing. Along the way, will be building proper form and technique to achieve these goals. This course is co-ed on a youth net. - $25 Per Session
Experienced 7th-8th Graders
This is for our middle school/junior high students who have played organized volleyball or already have the skills to do so. We will focus on passing to a setter and hitting their sets. We will also be working on proper defensive structure, and float serving on the higher net. This is for students who have knowledge about rotations and have hitting experience with a full approach. - $25 Per Session - 'Professional video analysis & feedback' can be added for a $5 fee when wanted.
JV and Varsity High School
Pick the team that you played on last season and take your skills to the next level for the upcoming year! This course has a boys' class on a men's net and a girls' class on a women's net. - $25 Per Session - 'Professional video analysis & feedback' can be added for a $5 fee when wanted.
Pre-College/ College
Our most advanced level of coaching. For students preparing for their first year of college play or those already in a college program. Keep playing indoor this summer and don't let your skills get rusty! You will assuredly even learn something new to take back with you. This course has a men's class on a men's net and a women's class on a women's net. - $25 Per Session - 'Professional video analysis & feedback' can be added for a $5 fee when wanted.
